Shake-on vs Swapcard: which fits your event?

Both platforms help people meet at events, and both use AI to do it. Swapcard is a mature platform sold on annual subscriptions, with a large integration catalogue and a strong set of security certifications. Shake-on publishes per-event prices, starts matchmaking with a conversation about each guest's goals, and reports against goals you agree before the event.

The short answer

  • You want one annual contract that covers many events. Swapcard's tiers run from 1,000 attendees a year on Starter to 10,000 on Professional and unlimited on Enterprise.
  • Your procurement team asks for ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II or PCI DSS certification.
  • You need a native connection to Salesforce, Cvent, Bizzabo, iMIS or one of 30+ other integrations.
  • Attendees should be able to ask an AI assistant to book and reschedule meetings for them.
  • You want to see the price for your event before a sales call, or start free with up to 50 guests.
  • Matchmaking should start from what each guest needs and offers at this event, in their own words.
  • You want to report every meeting and lead against goals agreed before the event.

QUESTIONS

Choosing between Shake-on and Swapcard.

Is Shake-on cheaper than Swapcard?

Swapcard doesn't publish its prices, so a like-for-like comparison needs a quote. Shake-on's prices are on our pricing page. Ask Swapcard for a quote for the same event and compare the total, including lead capture for exhibitors.

Can we move from Swapcard to Shake-on?

Yes. Export your attendee list as a CSV and import it into Shake-on. Guests get an email invitation to the Concierge, and exhibitors are invited to set up their booth. Try it on one event first: Shake-on is priced per event, so there's no yearly commitment.

Does Shake-on have a mobile app?

Shake-on runs in the browser. Guests open the event app from their ticket email, and booth staff scan tickets with their phone's camera. There is nothing to download.

Does Shake-on have an AI assistant like Sherlock?

Shake-on's AI works in a different place. The Concierge talks with each guest at registration to understand their goals, and the Copilot answers organisers’ questions and prepares changes they confirm first. Guests don't chat with an assistant to book meetings; they accept introductions with one tap.
