BROWSER STORAGE
Cookies & device storage
The marketing pages do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The Shake-on app uses necessary browser storage to keep sign-in and event features working.
Updated 29 September 2026
| Storage | Purpose | Where and how long |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication session | Keeps you signed in. | Browser local storage until sign-out or session expiry. |
| Offline check-in roster | Lets event crew check in attendees without a network and sync later. | IndexedDB on the crew device until unpaired or browser data is cleared. |
| Device pairing | Associates a crew device with an event shift. | Browser local storage until unpaired. |
| Interface preferences and event draft | Remembers navigation and display choices and protects an unfinished event draft. | Browser local storage until cleared or the draft is discarded. |
Third-party requests
When you open an event map, your browser requests map tiles from OpenStreetMap and that service may receive your IP address. Venue address searches are made by Shake-on’s server. Shake-on fonts are served from its own site.
You can clear or block browser storage in your browser settings. If you block sign-in storage, you will be signed out; if you block the offline roster, offline check-in will not work.
